Custody Services
FPB offers a very efficient custody platform. The Bank sends confirmations of all transactions in the account the following day. These confirmations may be sent by conventional mail, hold mail or e-mail.
The client receives interest and dividends of the securities in its account. The securities’ principal and interests on the maturity or call of a security is also credit to de client. The payment of interests, dividends and principal is always done on the due date or the day-after, depending on the payment made by the clearing agent.
The client may retrieve all custody account information through FPB´s Internet Banking. The system sorts the portfolio by asset type with subtotals, and under the asset type it shows every security contained in the portfolio. Additionally, the client may scroll through the transactions history, security by security.
Furthermore, all the details concerning purchases or sales executed by FPB’s Broker Dealer are available, as well as all other important information concerning the securities, such as issuer, principal and interest amount, maturity, trade and settlement dates, date of the next interest payment, etc. Pending transactions information is also available, displaying all the transactions to be settled, as well as the projected debits and credits in the Current Account. In addition, the securities with liquidity are priced daily through an interface with the Bloomberg Pricing Service.
In addition to all of this information, the client receives monthly-consolidated statements. These statements contain detailed information about the client’s custody account, showing all the securities owned by the client by the type of assets. Securities information is available in great detail and the multicurrency feature makes possible for the client to invest in securities denominated in different currencies; as well as display the totals in many currencies.
FPB gives its clients a fast and flexible service, using a variety of instruments to access the markets.
